I don't have it yet.
I'm sure I will.  I have all the other ones.  The new Ministry disc is supposed to be hardcore anti-Bush (and I really hate to capitalize that cause he doesn't deserve the respect.)  Ministry had another anti-Bush album.  Do you remember it?  There's a Ministry website you should probably check out.  It's kinda cool like in an interview that it has on there with Al Jorgenson.  http://www.ministrymusic.org/  I'll be seeing them tonight you know.  And those other industrial pioneers in the Thrill Kill Kult- Fuckin' Rawk!

Pictures no worky
Very sucky.  It bad, bad, bad cause they were hella hot.

I wonder if it has something to do with them being gifs though I wouldn't think that would be the case.  Could it be another Mindsay bug?

Addendum:
Okay- It was me.

I had bad, bad, awful gifs. The website I got the pics from sucked, so now I have new pics- good, ol' fashioned jpegs. Sorry- I got a wee bit carried away. There's a lot of pics to follow, but I suppose that's good. You gotta love the action chick.

If you're a chick, wouldn't you wanna be an Action Chick? I would.

If you're not interested in the pictures, please skip past them on the next post and read the few entries that follow it.  They are very, very important.

Actually, read everything in my blog.  Some of it is kinda interesting.

Thank you- Coop

Alice Rawks.

Milla Jovovich is by far the best action heroine of all times.  She may indeed be the best action hero of all times.

Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine (also in Resident Evil: Apocalypse) and Kate Beckinsale (in Underworld though not Van Helsing which sucked ass) run a tie for second.  Carrie-Anne Moss is third- fab Ducati chase scene in Matrix: Reloaded.  Crappy series of movies though.

I think to be a successful action hero/ine you need to have really cool boots and a cool jacket/coat don't hurt at all.  Also showing some good leg is an added bonus.  All four of these girls have great legs and boots, and both Kate and Carrie-Anne have great coats.  Motorcycles are cool too.  Carrie-Anne had a great (perhaps best movie motorcycle moment ever) motorcycle moment, and Milla has a damn good motorcycle moment.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is not a piece of great filmmaking by any means.  It is good, solid, hearty entertainment however.  It has some gnar gnar effects- for instance, the nuke at the end is solidly done CGI, some great stunts, some very cool shots, and a decent though old and cliched story line.  It's not brilliant, but it is a definite "Stan's Thumbs Up" in the entertainment column.  I was not bored at any point.  I willingly suspended my disbelief.  I had moments of jumpiness.  I rooted the good guys on.  I laughed a moment or two (and they were moments in which you were supposed to laugh).  It was a good follow up to the original.  I will own it.  Underworld II (still unnamed) will be out soon.  I foresee a third resident evil.  The zombie Dobermans made their obligatory apperance.

I will say if you didn't like the first one, you probably won't like the second one.  I dug the first one.  I dug the second one.

Oh- an apology if I may
I must appologize to the fine folk here at Mindsay- the developers, programmers, bug testers, tech support folk, people who read the "Please tell us what you think."  We were discussing this last eve- Granola Girl and myself (Coop), and we thought to ourselves "Does Mindsay make any money?"  The answer was "Um...  I don't thinks so."  So therefore Mindsay is a not-for-profit dealeo.  Why do they do it?  Do they do it in their spare time?  They do a fairly good job if it is indeed in their spare time.  Do they do it just for fun?  Do they do it for practice for other projects?  Do they do it to incorporate techniques into other projects?

We're allowed to use this service to our heart's content with no limits, interference, or censorship.  That's a great thing.

But, as with any free service (freeware, shareware, etc.), they're always doing updates- seeing if they can perfect their art.  I really, really don't prefer the "v3" version.  It seems buggy.  It does something with cookies that don't allow me to login unless I delete the cookie.  It has quirks.  It's fucked up with my firewall.  It locks up.   I'm getting used to it.  But if it changes (unwarned) again, and it's issumatic (again), I may have to go somewhere else- Xanga perhaps.

But anyways, I still want to give a shout out to the Mindsay folks and thank them for providing us with this outlet for our thoughts- a place to rant and leave our mindless drivel- a forum for social and political commentary- a journal to espouse the outcomes of our days.

I have made a decision.
Even though the physical country of the United States of America is a noble and beautiful place full of majesty and wonder, if the wrong individual gets elected for President, I will be moving to another country and renouncing my U.S. citizenship and foregoing all the "rights" and "priviledges" that go along with it.

My thoughts are for the magnificent province of Canada- our neighbor to the north- known as British Columbia. I've already been working on the accent and local colloquialisms. Ask anybody- eh.

Do you feel safe?

Do you feel your life and people's lives in general will get worse if the wrong person is elected for the seat of President of the United States?

Here's the news. My Lil' Sisser gave birth on Wednesday to little Isabella whom they still refuse to call Stanabella at 6 pounds 3 ounces 20 1/2 inches. apperantly a beautiful little tyke. i'm gonna half to pop up north to check the little nipper out. oh- no complications. induced labour because she was like 4 days or so over due. that means I'm Unka Coop btw.

and this little tidbit- I'm gonna be working the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as prince show here in SD on september 5th and the Beasty show here in san diego on september 11th. the artist... blah blah blah show is 15 semis- that's gonna be a hell of a load in and load out.

Dacey is gonna be commin' back on thursday...

and they're staying here. at this house. in the spare room. where little monkie is gonna stay. and they might have sex. interesting.

it'll be nice to meet papa ray.

and of course susan. maybe. but it'll be good. perhaps that wonderful adventure park- LEGOLAND!!!

ok- i won't right any more. i said it'd be minor.

Monkie boy is hella drunk. he had like 15 shots of rum or something ludicrous followed by popcorn. i'm willing to bet he needs to be hospitalized which won't be good. i'll be sad and chastize him.

i'm out.
